Coffee Milkshake

This coffee milkshake is rich and creamy, with a dash of               chocolate for a delightful afternoon pick-me-up.

If you've ever had a bar of chocolate and think what would happen if you added ice cream to it, first, I admire your thought, and second, todays modern recipe is for you.

This coffee milkshake will fulfill all of your delicious coffee fantasies. It has a deep coffee and chocolate flavor and is thick and creamy. Best of all, if you've any remaining coffee and vanilla ice cream in your fridge, you might be drinking a coffee shake in less than 5 minutes.

  • Vanilla Ice-Cream - Vanilla ice cream is a fantastic basis for a coffee milkshake as it allows the coffee flavor to shine over, or you may use any ice cream flavor that goes very well with coffee.

  • Cocoa Powder - A pinch of cocoa powder adds a delicate chocolate taste to the shake, which goes great drinking coffee.

  • Cold Coffee - You may make this milkshake with extra cold coffee, instant coffee, or cappuccino. Both types are excellent, but I love instant coffee since it provides a more strong coffee flavor boost.

  • Milk -  If you're preparing a milkshake with instant coffee or espresso, you'll simply need milk. Any quantity or flavor of milk will suffice. The better the fat content of the milk you use, the thicker and creamier your shake will be.

How to Make Coffee Milkshake

In a blender, combine all of the ingredients. I would like to put the dry ingredients 1st, then the milk and ice cream, so they don't float up and stick to the sides when you turn on the blender.

Allow around 10 minutes for the ice cream to soften little if using an older or weaker blender that has trouble with shakes. This will make it easier to combine without the need for additional liquid.

Blend till smooth, then serve in a glass with whipped cream and fudge sauce, if liked.

Mostly Asked Question

Can I make a milkshake without a blender?
  • Squeeze the ice cream into a big glass jar or another microwave-safe jar with a lid
  • Microwave for 15 to 30 seconds (without the cover) until ice cream is melted but not completely melted.
  • Add the other ingredients, close the lid, and shake well just to combine.
  • Smoosh each and every hard bit of ice cream with a stick, then serve into a glass & enjoy.

Surely, Cold brew works very well

Yes. Except you are using decaf coffee, you're shake will be caffeinated.

  • 3 scoops of ice cream
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • Whipped cream for topping(optional)
  • Fudge sauce for drizzling(optional)
  • Chocolate shavings for topping(optional)

  • In a blender, combine cocoa powder and instant coffee or espresso granules (if using). Ice cream, milk, or coffee can be added.
  • Blend till the mixture is smooth and spreadable.

  • Instant coffee and milk can be used in this recipe. Alternatively, you can flavor the drink with cold leftover coffee. Do not use milk if using cold remaining coffee. The coffee supplies all of the liquid required for the shake.

  • For a thick shake, use 1/2 cup milk/coffee; for a thinner drink, use 3/4 cup.
